SHY

Having moved from Dubai where she spent her career, Shy now spends her days cracking ideas and making ads in fickle-but-sunny Melbourne. A total writer’s writer, she’s always up for a pun-war, writes short stories and poetry, does spoken word on her travels, and is working on her first novel.

Shy moved from creative to copywriter and is currently an Associate Creative Director. A runner-up at the Young Cannes Lions Middle East and a Cannes Lions Silver winner, she’s honed her craft at agencies like Thinkerbell and Ogilvy Dubai working with multinational brands such as Coca-Cola, Mondelez, Samsung, Sukin, BUPA and heaps more.

Currently, Shy is on a mission to use her creativity to fight the good fight for brands trying to make the world a (slightly) better place.

SEAMUS

Seamus learnt early that 50% of people will say his name “Sea-miss” rather than its quite obvious Galiec pronunciation of “Shamus”. This rather early problem made him realise problem-solving was his calling, so he started a degree in Biological Science. He soon discovered that labs, as advertised, tend to be boring so he decided to put his problem-solving skills to use with graphic design.

Once in the industry, he underwent the metamorphosis (over 11 years) from Designer to Art Director and is now an Associate Creative Director, having collected a range of skills in each role working across KFC and Dan Murphy’s, CUB, Lion, Coca-Cola and BMW to namedrop a few. And along the way, he even picked up a Masters in Digital Media.

Seamus is a romantic who genuinely believes that creativity can change the world (whether that is in advertising or not is up for debate).
